"CareerGalah", "we" and "us" mean the operator. "You" means any person using the CareerGalah website. "Website" means careergalah.com. An "employer" is a business offering a role, and a "listing" is the description of that role on careergalah.com.
CareerGalah is a recruitment advertising and introduction service, not an employer. For any role on CareerGalah, the employer decides hiring, contracts, supervision, how the work is organised and pay. An application to CareerGalah is not a job offer and does not make you an employee of CareerGalah.
Read each CareerGalah listing in full, including the duties, how the work is done, the engagement type, eligibility and conditions. Roles can fill or change during recruitment; when CareerGalah learns of this, the listing is updated or removed. If you spot an error, email careers@careergalah.com and name the role.
Tell CareerGalah the truth about yourself, and only apply on another person's behalf when they have asked you to. You must satisfy the role's eligibility and Australian right-to-work conditions before CareerGalah can introduce you. Complete the form, then send CareerGalah HR the WhatsApp message, which only goes once you press Send. If you cannot use WhatsApp, email careers@careergalah.com. An employer found through CareerGalah can request more detail or an interview before deciding.
CareerGalah does not charge applicants at any point: there is no application, placement, admin or training charge and no deposit. CareerGalah is paid by the businesses that advertise. Nobody from CareerGalah will ask you to purchase crypto, add credit to an account, pay to access work or send money to receive wages. Please report any such request involving a CareerGalah role to careers@careergalah.com.
Pay for a CareerGalah role is set by its employer and depends on that role's conditions. Any range mentioned by CareerGalah is a guide, not a guarantee of the upper end. CareerGalah suggests asking the employer for written confirmation of its legal name, what you will do, how you are engaged, how pay is worked out, the likely hours and the payment dates, all before you accept. CareerGalah does not guarantee work, a minimum workload or income.
CareerGalah stands behind its own website content and ads, while employers answer for the information they give CareerGalah and their obligations as employers. Where an ad and careergalah.com conflict on a material point, CareerGalah investigates and fixes the incorrect one. A broad disclaimer on the CareerGalah site never cancels a specific statement or your rights under law.
The CareerGalah Privacy Policy explains how applications are handled. Anything WhatsApp or an employer keeps falls under their own policies rather than CareerGalah's.
You must not impersonate anyone, submit false applications, use another person's details without permission, share harmful material or interfere with careergalah.com.
Pages on careergalah.com may be viewed and kept for personal job-seeking. Using CareerGalah content for anything else needs permission first. Images used by CareerGalah are licensed stock photos, not pictures of actual applicants or employers.
Links and buttons on careergalah.com open third-party apps such as WhatsApp and email, which CareerGalah does not control.
CareerGalah cannot guarantee it, or that a role stays open while you apply. CareerGalah may change or take the website offline without notice.
Nothing in the CareerGalah terms removes, limits or alters a right, guarantee or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any law that cannot be excluded.
Apart from those non-excludable rights, CareerGalah is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss connected with careergalah.com. CareerGalah's liability for fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be limited, is unaffected.
Typos and technical errors can happen, and CareerGalah corrects them once aware.
You are responsible for loss that reasonably results, for example from applying with someone else's details without consent, except where CareerGalah caused it.
Delays or failures caused by matters outside CareerGalah's reasonable control, including hosting or messaging service outages, are not CareerGalah's responsibility.
Roles advertised by CareerGalah are for adults living in Australia who have the right to work here. Some employers set extra requirements, which appear in the listing or are explained by CareerGalah HR before an introduction. CareerGalah may decline to pass on an application that clearly does not meet a role's stated requirements, and will tell you why if you ask.
Some roles include a short online training provided by the employer or arranged through CareerGalah. The training exists so CareerGalah applicants can learn the work, and it costs them nothing. Even after the CareerGalah training, an offer is up to the employer, who also stays responsible for how the work is carried out.
Yes, you may link to the home page of careergalah.com as long as the link does not suggest CareerGalah endorses you or your site. CareerGalah is not responsible for other websites that link to careergalah.com, or for sites you reach from a link on careergalah.com. If you find a link that misrepresents CareerGalah or its roles, please let CareerGalah know at careers@careergalah.com so it can be followed up.
Employers who list roles through CareerGalah must describe them honestly, follow Australian workplace laws, give written terms before work begins and must not request money from applicants. CareerGalah may remove any listing or employer that breaks these expectations, and you can report concerns to careers@careergalah.com at any time.
If a court finds part of the CareerGalah terms invalid, that part drops out and the rest still applies. A delay by CareerGalah in enforcing a term is not a waiver.
These terms, together with the CareerGalah Privacy Policy and Compliance Statement, are the entire agreement about your use of careergalah.com.
CareerGalah will send notices to the WhatsApp number or email you applied with. Send notices to CareerGalah at careers@careergalah.com.
These terms are governed by the law of South Australia, without affecting any mandatory protections you have.
Email careers@careergalah.com and mention the role. When CareerGalah updates these terms, the new version appears here with a fresh date and earlier dealings keep their existing rights.
