CareerGalah runs careergalah.com from Port Pirie, South Australia. CareerGalah advertises part-time roles that people anywhere in Australia can do from home and introduces applicants to the employers offering them. CareerGalah is not the employer. CareerGalah receives two kinds. One is what you type into the CareerGalah form: name, mobile, email, the role you picked and any optional note, with the required fields marked. Second, the WhatsApp message you send the CareerGalah HR team, which shows your WhatsApp display name, your number and whatever you wrote. If you email CareerGalah, we also receive your email address and message.
Like every website, careergalah.com receives basic technical data such as IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed, the page you came from and timestamps. These records are kept by CareerGalah's hosting provider for security and reliability, and CareerGalah does not match them to any application.
Required fields are needed so CareerGalah can reach you and forward your application. Leaving an optional field blank has no effect on how CareerGalah treats your application.
Do not share passwords, SMS verification codes, card or bank account numbers, tax file numbers or images of ID with CareerGalah. CareerGalah has no use for them, will not request them and removes them if they are sent anyway.
CareerGalah uses your details to respond to you, share role information, forward your application to the relevant employer, answer your questions, keep a record of what was discussed, deal with complaints or misuse and meet legal obligations.
No, not at CareerGalah. CareerGalah never sells or rents personal information, and applying does not add you to any marketing list. If a different employer might suit you better, CareerGalah will ask first and share nothing for that purpose unless you agree.

Cloudflare hosts and secures careergalah.com and forwards email sent to CareerGalah. The lettering on careergalah.com is served by Google Fonts, so your browser requests it from Google. WhatsApp, owned by Meta, carries messages between you and CareerGalah HR. Those services each follow their own terms, not only CareerGalah's. If CareerGalah adds another service, such as a form tool or advertising tag, it will be named here before it is used.
CareerGalah shares it with authorities only if a law requires it, or permits it and it is reasonably necessary to investigate misuse or protect a person's rights.
Applying to CareerGalah has two steps: the form, then a WhatsApp message to HR. Our button only opens WhatsApp with suggested text to the CareerGalah HR number shown in the chat header. Nothing goes to CareerGalah until you press Send yourself. No WhatsApp? Write to careers@careergalah.com and CareerGalah will arrange another option.
careergalah.com does not use advertising or analytics cookies. CareerGalah's host may set one strictly necessary security cookie to keep automated abuse out. Blocking or deleting cookies will not stop the CareerGalah site from working.
At the date shown, careergalah.com runs no ad tags, remarketing lists or analytics. Before CareerGalah adds any, this section will be updated to name the provider, describe what it receives and explain your options. CareerGalah never puts names, phone numbers or email addresses into tracking data or URLs.
Some of CareerGalah's providers, such as Cloudflare, Google and WhatsApp, process data outside Australia, including in the United States. CareerGalah applies the Australian Privacy Principles to these disclosures, and you can ask careers@careergalah.com for more information.
CareerGalah keeps application records for no more than twelve months after the last genuine contact about a role, then deletes them. Ask and CareerGalah will delete earlier; records are kept longer only if required by law or an open dispute. Technical logs for the CareerGalah site generally drop off after about 30 days.
careergalah.com uses HTTPS, and only the people handling applications can open them. No system is perfect, so if a breach is likely to cause you serious harm, CareerGalah will notify you under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Employers you were introduced to, and WhatsApp itself, may hold their own records outside CareerGalah's control. CareerGalah can point you to the right place to ask them.
You may ask CareerGalah at careers@careergalah.com for a copy of your information, a correction, deletion or withdrawal of your application. CareerGalah may need to confirm who you are, will try to respond within 30 days and will give reasons if a request is refused. If CareerGalah has already introduced you to an employer, that introduction cannot be reversed.

CareerGalah does not use automated decision-making. Real people at CareerGalah read every application, while the employer makes the hiring decision.
CareerGalah roles are intended for adults. Information about a child that reaches CareerGalah will be deleted.
Write to careers@careergalah.com explaining your concern. CareerGalah will look into it and respond in writing, and if you remain dissatisfied, a person at CareerGalah with no earlier involvement will review the matter afresh.
Knowing the role lets CareerGalah send you the right training link and pass your application to the correct employer. If you are unsure, you can say so in your WhatsApp message and CareerGalah HR will explain the options before anything is shared. You can change your choice at any time before an introduction is made, simply by messaging HR or emailing careers@careergalah.com.
CareerGalah keeps the chat so HR can see what was already discussed and avoid asking you twice. Your messages are seen only by the people at CareerGalah who look after applications. You can ask CareerGalah to delete the conversation from its side at any time, although your own copy and WhatsApp's records are managed by you and by WhatsApp. CareerGalah never forwards your chat to marketing companies.
Yes, CareerGalah does. You can stop your application with CareerGalah whenever you like by messaging HR or emailing careers@careergalah.com. CareerGalah will stop contacting you about roles, will not introduce you to any further employers and will delete your details in line with the retention section, unless the law requires CareerGalah to keep a record for longer.
CareerGalah relies on the details you give, so please check them before you submit. If HR notices something that looks wrong, such as a mistyped number, CareerGalah will ask you to confirm it on WhatsApp rather than guess. You can correct your details at any time by messaging HR or writing to careers@careergalah.com.
CareerGalah may, yes. Updates are posted here with a new date, and if they affect information CareerGalah already holds, you will be told first where the law requires.
